Our town, Iwanai, is a small town.

Iwanai is well-known as a fishing town and used to be one of the most prosperous in Hokkaido. After a fire ravaged the city 65 years ago, there was a drastic reduction in the town's population.

However, Iwanai still retains pride as a fishing town and strives for rebirth.

As fishermen and sushi chefs — we will never give up.

With honor and respect, we channel the spirit of Iwanai and embody it in our sushi, locally-sourced with the finest catch from the Sea of Japan.

We will lead all customers to new heights and to experience an "ecstasy of food."
 

We will always value “温故知新"(onko-chishin). This means that one should learn from the past in order to understand the present and the future. Our policy here is to refresh the menu for each meal. While tradition is important, it could prevent people from savoring the present.
